Google says "yes" but the reasoning provided is adjacent to my initial question, so I don't know what real answer is.

The info you get from google searches and the info you get from asking questions here is often different, qualitatively. I think most people do both.

Sometimes google search will actually take you to a DCUM thread when you put a question into the system.
