The B players bumble around like Bees.

C players are the producers, they tend to do what they're told and are happy for a raise. B players are the intermediates - they actually have thoughts and concerns - they can move things forward or hold things up.

Help me decode what people really mean when they say someone is an A, B or C player. I get A's are the stars, the go getters, the winners, the ones who make C suite. Im unclear about B and C-- are these like continuous discrete scales? Sometimes it feels like B is worse than C? Someone told me that I am a clear C player and that's a good thing. Is it a good thing? Can I still move out of C into A within the same company or would I need to move out? Thank you
