No. It's either a trash basket or a basin I took from work (hospital). As a kid, my mom bought the basins for us.

No! The “barf buckets” are used only for that purpose. One is an old mixing bowl and another is an old plastic utility/cleaning type bucket.

My kids are 17 and 18 and have never really needed this. My poor ds was prone to car sickness and threw up in the car a few times so we had a barf bag. Personally, I would use the stock pot but why does it matter when something gets sanitized in the dishwasher anyway? People are weird.
