We've been a few times, both with and without our kids. Generally, we like it; we wanted somewhere that's nice and somewhat upscale, but didn't want to break the bank for places like the Salamander or Greenbriar. They usually have good deals on redeeming Hyatt points. It's a relatively easy drive (around 2 hours from Moco) Having the indoor and outdoor pools are a huge plus, and they have little activities that are kid friendly (movie nights, smores roasting, watermelon eating contest).

That said, a few drawbacks:

- It's tough to spend more than two days there. We spent two days over the summer, and by the end of the second day, the kids were pretty bored. There is a kids club there, but we didn't utilize it.
- Similarly, there's not much to do off property. It feels like if the weather precludes you from using the outdoor pool, you're probably stuck going to the indoor pool, which will be very crowded.

The frisbee golf course is fun for kids. And if you go, make the effort to go to the Harriet Tubman museum.

It has a lot to offer for the price - infinity pool overlooking the water, a pool with a waterslide where kids can use floats, indoor pool with movies at night, fireplace for smores in the evenings, free mini golf and other activities. Much cheaper and nicer than Ocean City.

We go a couple of times each summer but not as our main vacation. More of a quick weekend trip. We don't like the food at the hotel but there are some pretty good places nearby for dinner - Ocean Odyssey for crabs, RAR Brewery for burgers, Ava's Pizzeria.

We've been there multiple times because we have business in the area and no matter the season it's always bizarrely understaffed. Like "sorry but we can't open these two restaurants tonight, you might want to order a pizza from somewhere in town" understaffed, even when there's a conference booked and a wedding that weekend. I don't know if that's a Hyatt problem or a Dorchester County problem.

I played there over the summer. There are a couple of interesting holes, but the golf course is in terrible condition. I think sand traps are supposed to have sand in them, but I did not see any sand.

Tired is the best way to describe it. If you want a lux experience on the Eastern Shore in a better town check out the Inn at Perry Cabin.

This is a massive understatement.

The food isn’t great. My kids love it and we have a nice time.

We went this summer. It's fine. We stayed for 3 days which may have been one day too long. The pool was nice and our kids enjoyed watching a movie from the indoor pool.

We didn't do much else although there are arcade games. We ventured to a cute farmers market, got crabs from a restaurant and that's about it.

The room was very nice for what it is. I doubt we'll go back but it was a nice change of scenery for a weekend.

Oh and someone charged their $600 dinner to my room. Thankfully, I checked my receipt before I left and the hotel didn't try to charge me.

OK if you are taking kids.

It's fine. The restaurants always have long waits when we went, but the kids like the indoor pool in the winter. It's a nice little getaway. Summer is better if you can't get to the beach.
