DC Soccer futsal league is outdoor rec soccer with futsal rules. Perfect for a NW DC newbie.

Other option is MDSL futsal league. Rec level as well

Play the Bethesda futsal league. Rec quality play, easy to join. Games at Hoover MS or St. Andrews

Child has gained new obsession with soccer due to peer group at school, and playing daily at recess.Child has not been a dedicated soccer or futsol player, so looking for a recreational setting. Child has also not played futsol before, but it is now winter-ish. Can anyone recommend something that would fit this bill for the winter season, and that he can still register for/join?
I've looked at the various webpages but am confused as to the level of experience required/wanted. Any input is welcome.
