What do other single people do on weekends?

Get out of the apartment life. It's dreary and awful even in the best of times.

Get a house, even if you have to rent. Not a duplex or town house either, that's just apartment life with more expense.

What a dumb post. How would living in a house solve loneliness?
It's the exact opposite. Living in a house would isolate OP even more. In an apartment, OP has more opportunities to meet, connect, and socialize with neighbors.

Op, how old are you? This is part of the process. You need to start learning to be ok with being alone before you jump back in the dating life. Your needs come first and a lot of people like me at 43 and overweight have no desire to date.

Do you have any religious affiliation? Maybe join a church- church sucks up a good portion of my weekend.

What does that have to do with anything? So she can fix things every weekend or rake leaves? How is this helpful?!

You can't be serious.

I have always had more than one job.

I am divorced with kids and have zero time.

I don’t have a social life at all.

Find a part time job if you are bored or start a business.

I do an unhealthy amount of doomscrolling and tv bingeing on the weekends that my kids are with their father. I need to get better about using that time to do productive things, but I’m not there yet. I figure I have the rest of my life to get it together, so binge watching reruns is my chosen form of self-care.

I volunteer Saturday mornings, then do errands, then socialize. Sunday mornings, I go for a walk, read outside, then sometimes go to brunch with people or order in dim sum, do laundry, etc.

Sorry, OP. I'm not single but I am home alone a lot because my DH travels for work. I go to the gym walk my dog, run errands and definitely try to get out every day. I also make plans to have lunch with friends and invite people to take a walk with me, etc.

I like having a list of things to do even if they are at home and easy because then I feel good when I accomplish the list!
