When you take a shower, if your skin isn't slippery smooth when you use soap and your hair feels soft when you rinse out the shampoo, then your water softener isn't working. A shower filter or any kind of inline filter will not do anything for hard water.

The filter in a shower head will only remove chlorine. It cannot remove minerals from the water. Only a water softener with ion exchange resin can do that. Highly recommended. Showering and washing your hair with soft water is something that will make you say, why didn't I get thins thing years ago?

They don’t work. Think about how long your Brita takes to filter your water……

Please….need help with hard water.
I do have a water softener but would like to add a shower head that filters the water.
Any recommendations welcome.
