To all the undergrads who were probably not gonna be affected by this one way or another, do you really think the university didn't do a cost benefit analysis before reaching this conclusion?

The only question should be why this conclusion wasn't reached sooner. I'm sure all the ones concerned about morals and principles are those undergrads, not phd students or professors who are actually in need of those funds.

I read $30M to feds and $30M to farm research in exchange for releasing $1B in frozen research grants.
