I just took my teenager to Waxing by Aggie in Silver Spring, and she did a great job.

NP. At what age should they get professional services?

My 11 year old also wants this done for an imaginary unibrow and I also want to take her to a professional because I don’t want to tell her the wrong thing or mess up her face. Thanks for asking the question OP.

Maybe OP isn't blonde like you? I have dark, thick hair and started hair removal in 6th grade.

Pair of tweezers costs about $2 and plucking lasts longer with no mishaps that razors could have.

OP just get some of those facial razors and take off the unibrow. So much cheaper

If it’s just in the middle at home removal wax kit works really well.

That's not shaping, it's a clean up. Something you can easily do if she has a unibrow.

Why not DIY?

Just be very, very clear about what you want.
DO NOT SAY SHAPING.
Instead say "I'd like you to remove the hair on her nose bridge and clean up hairs that are far outside her natural arch"

My 11 yo is concerned about her eyebrow shape and thinks she has a unibrow too. She has some light hairs between but I just want her to be comfortable in her skin. I would like to offer her a professional brow trim. I pluck mine strategically so I’m not sure how to do anything else.
Recs of where to go in close-in MoCo (Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Silver Spring) area that won’t totally remove her eyebrows?
