+1. I’ve historically been a moderate Democrat, but Israel’s conduct in Gaza and the response in this country to people calling the Israeli government out for what it is has really opened my eyes. The institutional rot in the party on this issue starts at the top down. I’m a NYC voter and prefer most moderate Dem policy positions but voted for Mamdani because of this. And I will vote for AOC in the primary.
