Coach Mike of Wild Bill was simply the best for our player. The team improved from season to season, and they responded really well to his coaching.

It really depends on the coach. Everyone hates primetime because their skeezy owners put their hands in every team but most owners are very hands off. So if it’s a good coach that you vibe with, go for it.

Its pay to play ball- and not saying that as an insult. Its not the kids who are going to play beyond travel, most likely. A really good standout is going to go to PT, Stars, etc. and would be frustrated with this level of play.

What was the strange incident?

I’ll withhold my thoughts on the owner - (not who I would want around my kids.)
Having said this - that program does seem to have a solid balance between development and fun.

The one thing about Wild Bill is that it isn’t daddyball, which was good for my kid. We
looked at PrimeTime (no) and ATB (daddyball and worse) and went with WB.

I know the Wild Bill folks very well and my kid played for them several years ago.

It's fine...honestly, I realize looking back that literally no travel program does any real player development and most of that you will have to do on your own (and your kid will have to do independently on their own, even with personalized coaching).

It's not a premier program, but none of that really matters until HS (if it matters at all...only if your kid is good enough for college recruitment).

Honestly, I can't really say anything special about any of the travel programs. You should pick a program that logistically works best for you.

Stay away from PrimeTime...that's my only advice. Big thread on that if you search.

Anyone have kids playing for Wild Bill and willing to share your thoughts? Looking for good and bad feedback m, especially on coaching and player development.
