OP here. Thankfully by nature I am not a particularly anxious person. I reviewed the results in my chart. There is a small mass that has about 50% chance to be cancerous. Obviously I hope it is not cancer but I am also the poster that previously said I was going through tons of testing for odd symptoms

Hoping that your PCP may check their messages while out of the office.

Another option, call the office and explain your concern. Maybe there is a on call provider who will look into this for you.

That’s what I would do because it is Friday and I would feel anxious.

Sorry, that is very stressful.

Once you finally talk to your provider, ask how you can avoid something like this happening in the future (though perhaps someone covering, who does not know your whole history and why the test was ordered, would have trouble interpreting the result in context).

Op here. The test was ordered by PCP so apparently PCP is the one that has to arrange further testing. Agree with PP, PCP should have arranged coverage. At this point everything is stuck until after the weekend

That’s terrible. Any PCP who is out of town for a week should have arranged coverage. If you don’t hear back early tomorrow, I would call.

Just send a message. It's probably not a big deal.

Yes, call. Sometimes things slip through the cracks.

Monday I went for testing
Tuesday dr at the radiology center called me to tell me there is a suspicious finding. He uploaded the results to my chart (same network as my PCP) and said PCP should contact him and me to discuss next steps. It is Thursday and the results are in my chart, flagged as abnormal but not yet reviewed by the PCP.
Few days will not change the outcome but I am puzzled abnormal results that granted a call to the patient are still sitting unreviewed by the PCP
