It is highly unlikely that the other person is actually talking too fast.

In reality - you probably are just listening too slow.

My young coworker speaks fast, and it speeds up during meetings. I assume he has anxiety. I was trying to think of a gentle way to tell him to slow down but decided to just leave it alone.
