No, I’m not, broken record. Are you a competitor or something? Bitter ex? It’s a bad look. Get a grip.

I don’t post often and I’m sorry if it reads like an ad.

Right now my daughter has no clue where she wants to go. I want her to consider fit first but she’s been exposed to the SEC schools on social media and wants to go to USC/Clemson or somewhere similar. Im hoping once we start looking and she talks to a counselor she will consider something other than sorority life as a factor.

My daughter probably doesn’t need “help” getting in as much as we need help navigating the process and narrowing school choices.

I don’t want to pay what the firms are quoting -$8500 but I’m afraid I can’t do this alone. If anyone has any places that are less expensive and offer more options I’d love to hear about them.

College Counselor here. I would ask what professional organization(s) your consultant belongs to before hiring. IECA, HECA?

This is OP. I truly am looking for recs. If I’m gonna spend a lot of money I want to be sure I’m doing research. If you know any others that have a good reputation, I’m open to it.

Anyone use this firm for college counseling? Also talked to Collegewise but Abigail Hillman seems to have more ala Carte options. Any feedback would be great.

My daughter is super anxious and she’s my oldest. Her dad died 6 months ago so I’ll be navigating this alone while I work full time.
