This, and I'm worried about my christmas trip now that VA went Dem. He might try to shut down our airports.

Consider Amtrak?


Amtrak is now $550 each way from Boston for that weekend. I just checked to see if we could buy a back-up ticket to the flights we already have but for that much I'll just drive up there and take home a car-load of kids.

I think it's fair to say that if this shutdown goes on for another three weeks, there will be no air travel at all by Thanksgiving.

You can't refuse to pay air traffic controllers and very low paid TSA workers for two months and expect anything to function. They're all forced to be Uber Eats drivers to pay the bills.

Newark is a mess. ATC at EWR was understaffed even before the shutdown. Flight delays are especially frequent these days due to runway maintenance. Allow extra connect time.

Yes! Mine is on study abroad and has been gone since August. My spouse is also booked to fly out to meet him and help get all of his stuff home.
