Some kids families can’t afford healthcare. That’s why I don’t ever take my kid to the doctor.

You know you are why Trump was elected right, pure stupidity.
Don't feed the troll.

OP, what do you mean by "college prep"? Getting ready for college rigor and getting ready to succeed in college? Getting in to a good college?

1600.io orange book for math. The 1600.io website has walkthroughs of past tests both math and English. They have a free Desmos guide. You can also find Desmos playlists on YouTube by Tutorlini and JW tutoring. I prefer the latter because he groups things by advanced-ness so it's easy for a student familiar with Desmos to skip the basic "here's how to make a slider" stuff and focus on advanced techniques like regression

Erica Meltzer has a book for each English section.

SAT black book 3rd edition is a strategy guide. Not sure about this one but the 2nd edition was very good for the pre-digital SAT.

The college board has an official question bank. There are various websites which mirror the content with a better UI. Worth looking for something that is enjoyable to go through as this is where a student should be spending their time.

https://7sage.com/blog/the-blind-review-how-to-correctly-prep-for-lsat-part-1 this strategy series is for the LSAT but works very well for the SAT as well - it's all about maximizing the amount you learn from each question. They have YouTube videos on this as well although the playlists I found were out of order.

1580 scorer btw

And while you are at it, ask your child to stop doing homework.

Capital Educators - DC improved 100+ points on verbal (he only took verbal class).
No work was required outside of class - chosen specifically bc I knew my kid would never do anything outside of class.

We used Prep Scholar and really liked their set up and my kiddo went up 100 points. Worth it, in my opinion.

I taught standardized test prep classes for Kaplan when I was in grad school. The techniques are useful, and everyone I taught who actually did the work raised their scores (usually by a lot), but everything in the course was also in the $30 book. What the course mostly gets you is structure, particularly the regimented exercise via lots of scheduled practice tests. That's some ridiculously expensive structure in my opinion, but only you can figure out if it's worth your money.
