Go to Michael's like place and find wooden frames, wood glue, and various items to glue onto frames, maybe some letters, etc. Gingerbread houses that are put together the day before to dry. Outside if you sticks, etc, kids can find bits of nature and make fairy houses, little village, also with glue.

NPC is more detailed, and accordingly, more accurate.

I don't know the answer, but my experience with NPC suggests that is more accurate. The NOC calculations I've used very greatly by school. So my impression is that schools ensure that the important variables are in the NPC and when they say to check the NPC before applying ED, it suggests the schools have faith in that estimate.
