It varies entirely by interviewer. I had twins last year who applied to the same SLAC.

One had an interviewer reach out a few days after she submitted the application, the second had a frazzled interviewer call her out-of-the-blue in early December and say: "I have to submit this today by midnight, can we talk right now?"

Should applicants expect an interview request within two weeks of the ED deadline? What are your thoughts on timing?

I hate hearing that these alumn interviews don't hold much weight. It's a lot for kids to prep and make the time for, especially knowing chances are they may not get in.
