You should do the research and come up with a powerpoint presentation to argue your case with safety statistics, risk mitigation, etc. Maybe you can interview your pediatrician or a lacrosse coach and get more data to bolster your argument.

4 concussions per 10,000 athletic exposures seems like a manageable risk. Unless you are swimming or playing golf or running cross country there is always some risk.

My parents said lacrosse was a dangerous sport and never allowed me to play it. It sucks because it does look like a fun sport, but I never got the opportunity
