I only looked at the differences in the VAJRS coaches that were originally "assigned" to each team at the club. I hope too many folks don't read much more into my "analysis" other than the two coaches who are no longer at the club (one retired, the other now at Loudoun Elite).

Sounds like coaches shifted age groups vs much turnover.

Other comment re more disorganized infrastructure seems a question that keeps coming up quite a bit in threads but don’t hear as many people confirm, only say they heard. Vs VAE where there seems more consistent feedback that the lost a bit of monopoly by being complacent and are too much $ for the product and outcomes vs others.

Just comparing my spreadsheet from last club season to the upcoming season,

VAJRS 13 Elite 2025: One 13s coach from 2024
14s 2025: One coach from 15s 2024
15s: New coaches
16s: Two coaches from 14s
17s: Two coaches from 16s and head coach from 15s
18s: Head coach from 17s and assistant coach from 18s

I believe VAJRS has some coaches designated as floaters, so I don't know if some floaters from 2024 have been assigned to specific teams for the upcoming season.

I think last year's 16s head coach retired now that his daughter is playing in college. There is also another coach who came over from Paramount to VAJRS last season. His kid is also playing in college this year, but he found a spot at Loudoun Elite for the upcoming club season.

My oldest DD received an offer but ended up going to a different club. I kept hearing mixed things about the club’s lack of communication and losing reputable coaches every year. I have a younger daughter (played basketball-tall, athletic, and transitioning to volleyball like her sister) she is interested in playing 13s next season. I heard there was not a big turnout for thirteens this season as last season. Is there a reason why? My oldest attended the clinics-the coaches seemed fine, but I did notice they are all young and new. I heard the only long term coach left after last season. Wanted to get your thoughts?
