Platform rosters are posted for a while now. Unlike last year, they have only 12 players per team. Most other clubs are very slow at posting their rosters.

Most Clubs don't bother posting rosters on their website. Instead, they are posting on social medias, i.e. Instagram. Log in to Instagram, search for certain VB Club, and then see their recent postings which include 25-26 rosters.

Anyone analyzed movement of players yet between the top 5 clubs in the DMV? Big losers or winners?

Sounds like MDJRS lost a lot to Metro.

Noted some u17 players rostered on u18 teams for both metro and paramount.

Metro and VAE are typically pretty quick to post their rosters on their websites, so I'm a little surprised they haven't yet. They are usually on top of it.

VAE posted some rosters on Instagram.

I haven’t heard anything about Paramount not fielding an 18’s team. I don’t think that’s accurate. Coach Walter is already slated to coach 13U’s so I think that rumor is just a rumor.

Seems like a crazy question, but with so many Green shirt players on Metro headed to college early (+movement to VA Jrs apparently), there's been some rumbling that Coach Walter may retire and not be replaced.

Paramount 18s has a more than full roster from what I've heard. Coach Walter, however, is not listed as the coach. He is listed as the 13s coach on Paramount's website.

Some drop-offs between 17s and 18s can make sense for the reasons listed. But, if those same players play 18s at another club within the region, there may be other factors involved.

18s drop offs make sense across clubs. Many players go to college. I can also see where many others would say they are done with volleyball after their HS season if they aren’t planning to play at the college level.

While this won't apply universally ... nor is this (yet) information for public consumption, clubs will start sending out team-specific travel and hotel info for tournaments. You'll see player or parent names that you may recognize for your player's team. Just a thought. Some clubs are also now following "new" players via their Instagram/etc. accounts.

If you other parents fairly well, you can also ask them if they made any post-tryout decisions.

Based on some early observations, I think up to four Paramount 17-1 players are not returning for the upcoming 18s season (including one D1 commit). I think many already knew that some Metro Travel 17 players were leaving high school in January to enroll early at their college/university of choice.

It’s an annual ritual to snoop club websites for many club parents, but unfortunately it can take weeks. Some clubs will be super efficient and others take their time. If they are using SportsEngine for their club website, they can choose to publish the roster to their page as players accept and are assigned to teams, but many clubs drag their feet on doing this.

I did see that VAE was posting the rosters of their younger teams to Instagram so you can look for that in the near future.
