He has no Bs in his transcript but a smattering of B+ with the rest As with an upward trend - 2 B+ in 10th, 1 in 11th and straight As in first quarter of 12th grade (mix of 5 AP and IB).
1st question - is B+ pretty much seen as the same as a B.
2nd - is it worthwhile proactively submitting his quarter grades to the schools he already applied to, to show continued upward trend and that he has not taken his foot off the gas his senior year? And, if so, would he do that through applicant portal?

If anything, the AOs are so busy that it's very likely they've decided before seeing first quarter grades anyway.
