Yea, the offer pays a lot but I'm just thinking about after graduation and longer term, what's better. I guess the fintech firm seems to be the leader. Thanks all.

Some FAANG is doing a lot of layoffs and firings. Go with what is more stable.

Which ever one they get an offer for but be aware if it leads to a job in FAANG its survival of the fittest and most don't survive more than a few years.

If I were a student the world of fintech might hold more appeal in some ways depending on the engineering. Lots of interesting tech to work on (existing and emerging). FAANG is otherwise completely captured by ad monetization and AI.

for a software engineer.... a FAANG or fintech for long term employment and return offer?
I'm aware of FAANGs obviously, but have zero clue about the fintech world.
All I know is what I have heard about some of the fintech companies where they work you like a dog. But, I don't know if they are all like that.
Thinking about long term prospects and return offer after graduation. Which is better if you know this area?
