Yes for car insurance. And yes, they are offering to defer payment with no lapse in coverage for government employees

They said that there would be no laps and coverage and that the renewal date would be extended further out for my insurance progressive but then I made another call and I asked to speak to a manager just to be clear about it because I got no email to confirm the extension and I asked if I would be covered between the original date of the coverage expiry to the new renewal date since they said no laps in coverage and they said no. I wasn't told about this when they suggested the extension. So just giving a heads up if anyone here how's the requested an extension.
