Yes but wear a more current shoe/boot and top with them. The long top/tunic top or waterfall cardigan with skinny jeans is definitely giving 2012.

I will say that they never looked good on overweight people but for normal women they were hot.

I’m petite and wide leg jeans are awful on me.

That is me as well. Mine never left my closet same as my wide leg jeans, the straight leg jeans, cigarette jeans. They all fit me still and I pull whichever one strikes the mood.

No, millenial, but I'll tell you as a Gen X-er, I never gave up my wide leg jeans during the skinny craze and I give you full permission to keep your skinny jeans if you love them.
