You got pulled over for 76 in 70? Interesting. They probably radio description of the cars they pulled over to each other so that if you didn’t learn your lesson you get pulled over again. Good luck trying to argue this with a judge. Why are you not using a GPS app that alerts you of speed checks?

Brunswick county VA. One the border between NC and VA. It seems they’re known for this. I hard to pass 2 other pulled over cars to pull over the second time. Normally cops won’t bother until you’re over 15 on a clear highway.

You know pulling someone over for those speeds when the speed limit is 70 is bs. It’s not supposed to fund the government, is basically a poor tax and specifically targeting out of state drivers hoping they do t return and just pay the ticket is illegal.

Speed traps are everywhere. If you can pay the fine without receiving points, just do that. I hired an attorney when I got a speeding ticket in upstate NY because it would have been points on my license.
