I got a lot of attention from men in their twenties when OLD in my forties. I ignored them. I figured they just thought I'd want to have sex with them.

Honestly, 47 year old attractive women get tons of offers from men. Getting a boyfriend is not difficult for those women. They usually are still sexy and sexual, they can be lots of fun, they don't want more kids, and they usually aren't too clingy. In the other hand, getting a husband is difficult. Women that age can end up with a lot of relationships that don't last a year or don't ever get to the meet-the-family stage.

Should have added - she is not looking for anyone to deal with kids - hers are older teens and she’s also not looking for someone’s paycheck. True about the older men though. They’re the worst it seems. The younger one at least provide some value.

After my divorce I was not looking for relationship material. I was probably looking for the opposite though as I had been in a sexless relationship.

What are the chances? My sister is gorgeous, 47 but hasn’t had any luck. She keeps meeting pen who are either too young (when she goes out) or too old (on the apps). I hope she finds someone soon.
