Tulane is a great school. While their slide in the rankings over the past decades has hurt their reputation, plenty of wealthy private school students want to attend it. The bad publicity of banning the Colorado High school from letting any of their students apply early decision will soon be forgotten.

DD was in the Tri Delta sorority at Tulane. Great group of girls and lifelong friends. In addition to having fun they emphasize academics and community service.

I know these are very different schools... but my child loves then both and cannot make a final decision for ED. She loves the community sports vibe at Colgate but worries it is too remote and lonely. But Tulane feels too girl heavy and maybe mean girl cliquey vibe. Please only kind responses if you have any insight, wisdom, advice- thank you!
