Well maybe you come across as annoying or standoffish. So quit.

+1
I have an underperforming PITA and I am more than eager to have him on vacay or out of the office. Gives me a chance to delegate his work to a workhorse and lay him off later. So I enthusiastically approve. When my workhorse wants vacay I grant it but usually have to think through the details more.

Well perhaps the other people asked for their two months off and limited hours well in advance instead of waiting for the last minute.

On its own, no.
But since everyone else is getting what they ask for yes I am confused

He approved your time off but told you to do it further in advance next time. What's the problem there?

The coworker who took 2 months off likely had something going on in their lives. They may not have given you the real answer.

no I was there when that coworker asked, its a vacation.

The problem was that I have only asked for one day off ever. But a 30 year old guy gets every weekend off to go to games.

So you have no idea if they would refuse other days off? Because you've never asked ...and the one day you did ask off was approved? You get why this argument makes no sense right?

Coworker B gets every weekend off and all this time off!
Oh, does yours get denied?
Well, no. I've only ever asked for one day off and I got it off.

Your argument about being treated unfairly makes no sense. Cutting back on hours is much different than taking vacation

Next time try telling them you are reducing your hours. Don't ask. When you ask, they can say yes or no. When you tell them, they have no choice but to accept it and adjust/react accordingly.

Plus that's 2 months pay saved. Different entirely.

When I asked my manager one week ahead if I could have a day off, he said yes (hesitantly) and than told me that I should ask way before hand.

and when I asked him if I could cut my hours he said no.

However, when this other worker asked for 2 months off, he said yes quick as hell, and even made some joke about hoping she’ll come back.

Another worker has days off all the time.

I just do not understand. Am I disgusting? Am I ugly? Am I the monster from The Substance?
I feel like when people don’t deem you to be good enough they don’t respect that you have needs. Even managers.

Because that one time when I asked if I could cut my hours and they said no, they asked me how I feel about that (🤨) and I said well I dont have a choice.. and they replied ”you always have a choice”. Basically implying I could quit?
