Ha ha ha. I used to work in a data center. 24/7 66F. I start sweating at 68F wondering what's broken now?

Offices are still made to the temperature for men wearing suits. Problem is, barely anyone wears suits to work anymore (no one in our office) and the cold temps continue.

I've had a heater but purchased a heating pad. Love it. I don't want over hot air blowing on me so the heating pad is the perfect warm temp.

This time of year is normally still warm but we’ve actually had Fall this year. AC is usually set systematically based on norms. Hopefully it will be off next week.

As for the specific temps, 72 for AC is fine. But way too hot for heat. If you’re cold wear layers. People can only take off so many layers when hot whereas you can keep adding them when cold.

I can't cool an overheated office. But I can warm one. At 72 I'm sweating.

It is insane they keep cranking the AC to freezing temps like you are at the mall or at a movie theater in the middle of July. Thermostats need to be set to 70-72 after mid-October.

Reason #579 why working at the office blows. It is always so cold you can't even concentrate. Ridiculous.
