Gross premade supermarket salads scream e coli.

My teen daughters eat Caesar salad and they like salads with fruit in them (dried cranberries, apples, strawberries) and something crunchy (croutons or wonton strips or pumpkin seeds or candied nuts) with a sweet dressing like a raspberry vinaigrette or poppyseed dressing. They also like cucumber salads.

My kids are on a co-ed high school rowing team that regularly has team dinner. Nearly every team dinner includes a Costco Caesar salad kit salad. We mix it up, including with the dressing, and it gets eaten eagerly by all the kids every time.

You are so wrong about this.

I've done a TON of team dinner and I do ceasar and something else and the something else is never eaten and the ceasar is devoured.

My DD's teammates always like a homemade version of one of Pupatella's salads. Arugula, shaved parmesan, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, croutons and balsamic vinaigrette. Super easy and never any leftovers.

Costco has a quinoa salad in their prepared foods- it’s a hit.

My daughters love salads. Traditional, non traditional…faves are arugula with chickpeas or tabbouleh, three bean salad, farro salad with tahini dressing, or kale salad, list goes on.
Most people like Greek salad, do that!

My teen girl would probably only eat romaine Caesar. She’s pretty picky, but that’s a popular salad with other kids I know.

Her tween sister likes a variety of salads, but would also like Caesar.

Do they have a caprese salad option? That might actually get eaten. The problem with "salads" is that most places interpret that as a huge amount of lettuce and basically nothing else.

There was much back and forth over whether to have a salad or not between coaches that I piped in that I would just bring one. They weren’t sure the girls would eat it.

I can’t eat salad because for decades it has always given me stomach cramps and immediate heart burn no matter the kind.

Sam’s Club has a good size salad in the app, Choppd has a $80 catering size with flavors, but that seems pricey for a group who may not eat it.

What’s a good salad? What should I bring?
