Given that the school is in a financial meltdown, I'd pass.

Chicago loves private school kids, it’s a harder admit coming from a public high school. With their financial situation, they need as many full-pay students as possible.

They have said they enroll around 25% of the class in each early round. RD acceptance rate has been less than 1%.

ED0 appears to be a kind of rolling admissions, with greater odds of acceptance for those applying earlier in the application period.

correct. PP is nutty. They do not published ED1 admit rate but based on extrapolation from data that has snuck out over the years and the CDS, ED1 is somewhere between 20 and 30% admit rate

My child did (though honestly I'd be shocked if they got in, even though they're well qualified, because most applicants are well qualified).

But given that the class of 2028 got a total of 43,612 applications, a big chunk of which were ED, any information you get here - whether it's 2 applications or 20 or 200 - will be completely meaningless.
