52-year-old woman, and yes, I probably could. The only thing that might be questionable is the sprint.

In Army basic training more than 25 years ago to be able to get into basic training from that holding area, you had to be able to do 11 pushups.

And yeah there were some people stuck in that holding area because of that. Some of them may have been purposely failing because they regretted joining.

But even to graduate basic training the requirements was 42 push ups in two minutes (so about the same as the ICE standards but about double the time and amount) and 53 sit ups in two minutes.

Passing the test was hard and this was a bunch of healthy 18 year olds.

It got a bit easier as I got older and worked out more and added bulk/muscle.

But conversely the two mile run was easy, where I could run it in 12 to 13 minutes. But as I got bigger, it got harder to run too.

In my mind, I would say other than the sprint, which is because I've never done it before and don't know, I want to say that this ICE test would be easy for me based on my younger self. But in all honestly, I'm not sure if I'd be able to pass it today.

I'm not saying I support or am against ICE in any way. But I wouldn't take it for granted that this fitness test is easy to do, especially if the events follow each other after a five or ten minute break between each event.

Exactly the same for me and I"ve been running for 5 years. That seems doable for men in OK shape, but very few women.

I can do the situps and push-ups but not the running. My middle schooler could breeze the whole thing.

Do the pushups need to be consecutive and fully to the ground? If not, maybe. I can do about ten at a time in excellent form. No clue about the sprinting since I'm more a distance runner and it takes me about 1/4 mile to get into the groove.

I'm a 47 year old peri menopausal woman who is fairly out of shape and I could do this without even trying too hard.

This just shows you that they'll take any old NAzi to do the job.

Sprint: 220-yard sprint in 47.73 seconds or less
Run: 1.5-mile run in 14 minutes 25 seconds or less
