There are four teams up to 14u. We have a lot of kids at 14u so not everyone makes a team. Team 1 travels a ton, including Chicago, Bridgeport, Princeton, etc.

Some of what the PPs said is true, but there’s more to it.

1- RHL is rooftop hockey league which is a true house league.
2- RHL - Rooftop Selects are a step up above house league with tryouts, but are not travel level.
3- Caps Academy is travel.

Rooftop Selects are some of the better house league players whereas CHA is a travel team. The Rooftop Selects team will be less of a commitment but also less skilled than the lowest skilled travel team CHA has.

Caps academy are the chespeakenbay hockey league travel teams. Think August though march, 2 practices a week with multiple fans most weekends, and regular travel throughout the mid Atlantic. Rooftop is all at Medstar and much less of a commitment.

Can someone tell me the difference between Rooftop Selects and Caps Hockey Academy? Thanks!
