Just look at the high school profiles for the private high schools in this area and other larger metropolitan areas. Most of the profiles will list where the graduates are going to college. You will see the same list of the usual suspects and virtually every profile: second tier privates, like Tulane, Wash U, northeastern, etc. These are all rich kid schools for kids who can’t get into Ivies. And these are the schools you want to avoid.

Weird cliques at Colorado College of wealthy, privileged kids. Could work for a kid from an Upper Middle Class family, but would avoid if money is a family concern.
Your entire list of schools is accurate in that each has a lot of rich kids enrolled.
OP, based on your concern as illustrated by this thread, why is your child considering these schools ?

My son is applying to Miami because they have the niche major he wants. If he goes, I figure he’ll at least fit in with the other kids in that major.
Also, we’re UMC in terms of income, but not lifestyle, so not sure if that makes a difference. Definitely not what I would consider rich.
