Fact that they are offering you $50k more than your current job makes me wonder about their financial planning but the nonprofit world is a mystery to me.

Private philanthropy and some fee based offerings, which are relatively small.

How are they funded? Obviously gov grants can’t be counted on, what are the other sources of funds?

After 6 months of unemployment I got a job. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it, its adjacent to my previous field. I’ve been in the job for 3 months. Have been offered a new job ( that I applied for before taking the current job) which is about $50k more and in my previous field - I’ll have autonomy to shape my work. But its in a new nonprofit and I am concerned in this environment if fundraising is anemic it might not last.
