What are those issues?

Poor U-littles technical development

Low iq and decision making from not watching the sport on TV or live being played by the best

Coaches without proper knowledge, experience, training and licenses to teach (not coach) U-littles

Parents giving input and having too much clout with little soccer knowledge

Need more?

Middle school can be where it matters most. Most clubs won’t be competitive if they form BY teams and will have no choice but to transition to 8/1. By 10th grade it more or less washes out and age groups start to combine at the end (for girls anyway).

Pretty sure the club will take your money and then you will deal with whatever happens afterwards.

At a u little age our club when initially asked pushed the narrative of everyone "playing up" to stay until they transition to 11 v 11. That is starting to change as reality sets in but there have been zero plans for how it will be handled announced.

I doubt that. It seemed pretty informal and intra-club, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Arlington just announced that they will have school year age scrimmages in the winter to start to see how the different birth age groups play together.

What have other clubs planned?
