Rhian Malan's My Traitor's Heart.

The ones that inspired lasting changes have been the practical ones: Outlive by Peter Attia and Longevity by David Sinclair. Those have kept me focused on strength training, diet and sleep for maintaining good health.

I also read the Happiness Project and Die with Zero and those keep me focused on planning my life rather than letting life happen on autopilot.

What the Eyes Don't See by Mona Hanna Attisha about the Flint water poisoning.

Tracy Kidder's book about Paul Farmer-Mountains Beyond Mountains

I also like Sonia Sotomayor's autobio-My Beloved World.

What memoir have you read that inspired you to change or pivot -- either big or small?

Thinking of something like Shonda Rhimes "A Year of Yes."
