Yes, Muldoon’s sucks period, in the middle of nowhere and feels like a farm (cause the fields are converted farmland). But just much it sucks depends on the weather leading up to and during the tournament.

I am being completely serious when I say I loved having Muldoon’s as my kids’ home field when they were U11 and younger. It’s a beautiful drive to a lovely area, and little kids don’t need to play on perfect fields all the time.

I’m sorry for the people whose cars slid down the parking area in the rain that one time, and I’m thrilled we are no longer at BSC for scores of reasons. But I hope that some of you heading there for this tournament will appreciate the opportunity to be in such a pretty place. Especially if you go the River Road route by the historic Seneca schoolhouse. Forget everything I just said if there are cyclists out in force.

Insider confirmation. This is not a tournament you’d wanna miss. Especially if you’re a player.

Big weekend nov21-23

Are they going to stop using muldoons? No? Then all sensible people will pass.

Where did U14s play last year?

muldoons - a lot of clubs decided to not send their younger age groups there because of this. fields there are atrocious.

Yes if your team is playing in the lower brackets of the tournament, especially at younger ages, they will be on tall grass fields in the middle of nowhere Maryland, and they'd be better off doing something else.
not true. Was in top bracket last year and played at Muldoon

Two years ago, the U14 top bracket played at Muldoons. Maybe the whole age group. It was embarrassing to have teams travel all the way from Canada to play at that place.

Any veteran parents have good intel on this?
It’s awful for younger kids, below u12. The fields are a plowed farm. Better for older parents and tourney is worth a lot of points.
