- be skinny
- great skin
- great teeth
- hair “done”
- nice clothes
- nice accessories (bag, shoes)
- fine jewelry, watch
Like, if I’m skinny and have great skin and teeth do I need the other things to “look wealthy”?

No.
I know a lot of women born into old money and all of them focus on their own interests and pursuits and none of them have a 'maniacal drive to be the best'. Just as examples one woman owns a horse farm/sanctuary in Colorado, one is an art conservator, two worked in their 20's but became housewives here in Chevy Chase, one is a doctor who works with the unhoused, and a couple more have other art related jobs.

Can you explain why you need to look “wealthy,” as opposed to simply put together and attractive? And if you are not actually wealthy why do you need to fake it?
