Guys that age are not marriage material because of the nursemaid issue. But if marriage is not your immediate goal go for it. I'd go for the lower age in that range and hope that he can spoil me. YOLO!

55 is fine when you are 35 but dealing with an 85 year old at 65 is not going to be fun.
Try to narrow that age gap or maybe if 55 is your sweet spot you can age into being closer in age to your attraction. I used to get crushes on older men. Now that I am older myself, I think OMG.

OP here. I’m OK with not having kids. I used to like the idea of having them. But it’s less of a priority.

I don’t talk to my friends or family about this, but I’m in my mid 30s, and I’m predominantly attracted to much older men (think 55-65). I can’t really explain how or why this is; it’s just how I’m wired. Should I be concerned about dating much older men? Or is this OK?
