I meant in the admissions process. Apologies it was a vague question. It was a bad attempt at starting a conversation if there is anyone applying to kindergarten reading this forum.


OP, what schools have you liked thus far?


The Trinity open house was amazing and we met some really nice current parents at the reception after. But it was packed. We liked HM much more than we expected. St Bernards also was warmer than we anticipated. We couldn’t get a feel for Collegiate based on our tour— I’m hoping we do with other events. We still have a lot of schools to see.

Why would you expect to connect with your guides? Are you expecting “we want you” vibe from these tours?


Exactly. Who even are the guides? We applied to private for high school. So guides were current students so actually added some value as they could tell us about a school and gave us a peak into the personality of the school. Unless they are truly awful, which questions the judgement of the school in choosing them, the guide shouldn't matter much.


A lot of the guides are current parents. They’ve been perfectly nice, but they have just been no points of connection with the stories they’ve told about the school. I was just wondering. Thanks for making it clear not to read into it!
