I don't think ND will ever join a conference.


They will have no choice if they start to get left out of the playoffs.

They will fill them up more with Midwest fans traveling to the west coast or local alums who live out there already.

Thanks to their independent status. In a real conference their record would probably take a hit.

USC/ND Rivalry might end with last night's ND victory in South Bend. First game was in 1926. It would be sad to see it end, but I think USC is frustrated with all their loses, they don't like the travel or the midwest weather.

I guess they might continue it if all the games were played in LA.

Either way, I hope it continues. The fans love it...well maybe not the USC fans anymore lol.

ND leads the series 51-37-5
