I've maintained a similar weight loss for almost two years on a low maintenance dose. I stretch my online order. Not hard.

I had tried semaglutide a couple years ago and the side effects were debilitating and I was not in a good space in terms of diet and exercise. Finding tirzepatide to be MUCH better for me.

Where did you get it?

Ask your doctor or contact an online pharmacy like Hers. They offer the brand name drugs as well as compounded.

I did. It didn't stick though which sucked because it was extremely hard on a daily basis in terms of nausea and fatigue. I am back to where I started. No horrible food habits and zero drinking, and I am active so I need massive calorie reduction. Considering Tirzepatide to see if that might work better for me.

this question is asked daily.
Have you looked over this forum?
Yes, get the compounded version from sources mentioned in this forum. Pay out of pocket.
I use Brello and it's $500 for three months although I stretch it twice that length.

Of course you can. And insurance will cover if you have a co-issue (high blood pressure for example).

I was very recently prescribed a GLP for my goal of losing 20 lbs, but my BMI is in the middle of the "overweight" range. My PCP wrote the RX and was clearly not thrilled about it. I am paying 100% out of pocket and will remain on the very lowest dose rather than titrating up. The side effects have been unpleasant, honestly, but I am hoping it improves.

"Can u?" Well, you would need to get a doctor to prescribe it. And a lot of them will not as they are pretty powerful drugs with serious side effects. And most pcp these days are referring patients who absolutely need glp-1 meds for obesity out to weight loss clinics as the paperwork for glp-1 meds can be overwhelming and pcp offices don't have the time to deal with it. So ... good luck. But I hear the shady online weight loss clinics will do it.

oof. Using bmi, there is about ~30 pounds range of "normal" weight. So you can be 5'7 and 158 pounds, still below 25bmi and want to lose 20ish pounds to weigh 138 and be around 22bmi
