As a lawyer, I really would be focused on looking for another job. You’re always going to have a target on your back if you force the issue here. I might have a different answer if 1) it’s a very large employer or 2) it’s a government employer.

I am asking for in-office reasonable accommodations because my employer is extremely averse to telework.

They offered an accommodation that is ineffective and have ghosted me since I appealed and provided additional documentation over a month ago.

I understand no telework but they have not offered an effective accommodation and my medical condition has gotten worse and I am running out of leave.

It’s fine if I can’t telework but they need to accommodate me in the office then, right? They also aren’t following the process or adhering to timelines.

I work in MD and live in VA.
