Just call it crème fraiche if you must.

I used to do that! Thousand Island dressing. I also made my own mayonnaise. And how do you have bagels without a schmear of cream cheese?

Guess I'm just low class. 🤣 Don't care!

I pity anyone who's so obsessed with class they get anxious over what they eat in their own home.

I’m Hungarian and sour cream is heaven in my meals.

I'm a chef and ketchup, ranch and sour cream are all legitimate condiments. Maybe you need to get better sourcing

I make my own ketchup-mayo sauce.

I don't understand what would be "low class" or juvenile about any of these. Do rich people only have burgers with no ketchup? That's psychotic, I don't want to live like that.

Is it psychotic? Seems like quite a stretch.

Nope. And I don't think there's anything wrong with using ANY condiments that you like.

I can't answer your question since I don't consider ketchup and ranch to be low class, juvenile, or something adults grow out of.

I do consider sour cream to be in the same category of popular condiments that can be used in many ways.

Same category as ketchup and ranch; as in, most adults grow out of using it?
