It can’t POSSIBLY be that an intelligent teacher made a simple mistake. The PP can’t imagine that smart people chose a purposeful career.

I’m sure I make the occasional mistake because of the pace at which I have to work. (That, and the fact I’m a human.) I’d hate to think I’m so judged by a parent that she had to rush to DCUM to make a comment about a misspelling.
