imo, more clubs should have programs like this. a lot of teams practice 4x a week, and people are always tired and get injured. so why not make one day of practice for strength+injury prevention and video review? then the teams actually gain game iq as well and make better use of their (and parents!) time.
Do you actually think anything SYC does is successful for player development?
They are the Al Davis Raiders. They win baby! Your player with pro potential at U12 with cherish their Jefferson Cup and MLS Next Championships while watching the other “loser” U12’s on the tele breaking into the European 1st teams in their 20’s.
