Farmers dog has a supplement if you want to cook your own.

No raw. We do both, kibble and cooked. We do three cooked meals a day and leave out kibble for when hungry. They don’t like kibble much but the new one we got is ok. And, get quality kibble.

Primal raw frozen is good
I also like small batch.
If you cook, use a recipe that calls for the extra added vitamins/minerals.

Why Kibble with an S?

It looks like you’re getting suckered into the farmers dog ads. Look, that food is just fine but dog kibble is just fine too. Maybe you can do half-and-half if it makes you feel any better.

Kibble is fine. Proper exercise is more important to health and longevity. Most pet dogs don’t get nearly enough exercise. My 35lb dogs run miles a day and swim often. The vet says they have incredible joint health and a great lean build.

C with a caveat that you should ensure balanced nutrition, so you do need to know what you're doing in terms of giving your dog a wide variety of veggies, grains, meat protein, in the right ratio. And if you will ever board your dog, or if he ever needs hospitalization, he needs to be able to eat dry or wet dog food from cans or kibble bags. They won't book for him!

For me convenience is also a factor, so my dog mainly has dry food, ie kibble. Kibble is singular, not plural.

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times before. I'm a new dog owner and can't find answers in search.

Wondering which of the following diet is best for your dog if the goal is overall health and long life? I understand genetics and other factors play a role but if all other things being equal, which is healthier?

A) all kibbles (the best organic brands)
B) half kibbles half real food
C) All real food: cooked or raw, this could include beef, chicken, salmon, broccoli, carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, etc. No spices, no oil, no canned food

I assumed C would be best but now I wonder if our kibbles may have more balanced nutrition?

It's a dog that will grow up to 30-40 lbs if that matters. Assume cost and convenience are not factors here, just thinking about health and longevity.
