Have you applied to be added to the Teacher Pool first? Last year, nobody told me that and I applied to like 55 jobs directly and found out that if you don't apply to the Teacher Pool first, your applications go straight to the trash. Principals aren't even allowed to look at your application. It's the generic "Teach With MCPS" posting. Once you go through that process, which took me about 3 weeks, you can then apply directly to posted jobs and be interviewed

It’s one of the elementary schools that feeds to BCC. I have no idea how hiring works, but writing the principal or assistant principals seems like a good idea to me.
